My chance meeting with Yuvraj!

I had just returned from Hyderabad where I facilitated training sessions for 2 clients. Ideally, I prefer time off between assignments to juggle and manage all the other important roles I play! In reality, my life is a whirlwind! My work is very interesting and so are the people I sometimes meet.  I had a meeting scheduled suddenly at the Hotel ITC Gardenia - the long delays in traffic and  pothole-infested roads didnt help.

While I was entering, I came f2f with Yuvraj Singh who was leaving the hotel.  In a few seconds we would have passed each other. I felt compelled to talk to him. It was a chance meeting but we both talked, like we knew each other. He had so much control but it was evident he had experienced the toughest roller coaster of his life.

I had followed his journey during his illness and quietly rejoiced when he  fought and smiled through it all. It requires tremendous courage, unrelenting will power, an optimistic mindset and a wonderful family to help you deal with such tests in life.  I felt an uncanny connection with Yuvraj. Later, I walked into my meeting with Yuvraj's book and a big smile on my face.

Its important to celebrate life and most of all celebrate YOU!
